Uyaji Data Deletion Guide

Effective date: October 29, 2026

Uyaji has no sign-up, so there is no account to delete. Information on the server is deleted automatically after a set period, and some of it can be deleted right away as shown below.

1. Delete right away

• Life facts remembered on the server: type "내 정보 지워 줘" (Korean for "delete my info") to Uyaji, and remembered facts such as your child's age, pets, car, neighborhood, pregnancy, and living with an older family member are deleted at once.
• Records on your phone: tap Menu → "Clear Uyaji chat memory" to delete all favorites, saved answers, and past conversations from this device.
• Settings and install ID: deleted when you clear the site data in your browser or uninstall the app.
• Task alerts: delete them in Menu → "My alerts" and the alert data on the server is deleted within 24 hours.
• News notifications: turn them off under notifications in the menu and the settings on the server are deleted at once. If you uninstall the app or turn off notifications on your device, they are deleted at the next send.
• Web visit statistics cookie (Google Analytics): delete or block cookies for uyaji.bymysidelabs.com in your browser.

2. Deleted automatically

• Recent-question memory (latest 20; question 80 characters and answer 160 characters): 90 days after your last question. It is stored under a value that cannot identify you, so even the operator cannot find and delete it.
• Remembered life facts: 90 days after the last save
• Service improvement records and error records: 7 days
• Same-conversation memory: 1 hour; temporary answer copy: 10 minutes
• "Report this answer" reports: 90 days (the operator deletes report emails within 90 days after handling)
• Bus alerts: 24 hours after they end
• Web and app usage statistics: 2 months; Android app crash records: 90 days

3. Request by email

• Write to mark@bymysidelabs.com. Since there are no accounts, please include the install ID from "Support info" in the menu and the date, time, and content of your questions so we can find your data.
• We handle requests within 7 days and reply with the result.
• The operator cannot find what is only on your phone or your recent-question memory, so please use the methods in section 1 or wait for automatic deletion.
